Students in ages 5 -11 focus on foundational skills in Math, Reading, Writing, Social Studies, and Science. The Key Concepts Core Four provides extended learning time in each of the four major subject areas. Art, music, physical education and cultural studies round out the curriculum.

The Middle Grades at ASDPA are crucial in our children's development. Skills learned during this time prepare students for the rigors of high school and college. Students work cooperatively in classes where their individual gifts, talents and learning needs are identified by teachers in order to provide each student the best possible plan for success in all subjects. Project-based learning and exploration of the arts provide students with opportunities for creative expression and self directed learning.
